Privacy Policy

We do not sell your data. Ever. Full stop.
1. What We Collect
We collect only what we need to operate the Platform and serve you effectively:
At Registration
- → Name
- → Email address
- → Phone number (optional — used for scan alerts and SMS notifications)
- → Your chosen Architect code and optional bio/headline
Automatically
- → Session cookie (
hls_session) — used only for login state - → Basic usage data (page visits, QR scan events) for Platform operations
What We Do NOT Collect
- → Credit card numbers (handled entirely by Stripe — we never see raw card data)
- → Government ID or Social Security numbers
- → Precise location data beyond what you provide in your profile
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
- → Operate the Platform — manage your Architect account, generate your QR code, and display your sponsor landing page
- → Login links — send you magic link emails via Resend for passwordless authentication
- → SMS notifications — text you via Twilio when someone scans your card (only if you opted in)
- → Payment processing — bill your subscription securely through Stripe
- → Platform improvements — understand aggregate usage patterns to make HLS better
We do not use your data for advertising networks, behavioral tracking, or sale to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
We work with trusted service providers who help us run the Platform. Each receives only the data they need:
Airtable
Data storage
Architect records and platform data are stored in Airtable. Subject to Airtable's privacy policy.
Stripe
Payment processing
Handles all subscription billing. We never store raw card data. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
Resend
Transactional email
Sends login links and account notifications. Receives your email address only.
Twilio
SMS notifications
Sends scan alerts to your phone if you opted in. Receives your phone number only.
Promptings / SendOutCards
Affiliate commissions
If you sign up as a Gratitude Consultant through HLS, your registration data is shared with Promptings for commission tracking. Subject to their terms.
4. Cookies
We use one session cookie:
hls_session
- → Purpose: Member login state
- → Type: httpOnly (not accessible to JavaScript)
- → Expiry: 7 days, or deleted on logout
- → Shared with: Nobody
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies on this Platform.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- → Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- → Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- → Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data. Email us and we will process your request within 30 days.
- → Opt-out of SMS — reply STOP to any text message at any time. No questions asked.
